Unwrapping My Bold 45-Day Challenge This Holiday Season

For the chefs out there, did you know that one teaspoon of matter from the neutron star would weigh 6 billion tons?

In today’s newsletter:

  • Goals: My plan to welcome 50 new members.

  • VidIQ: A free tool to help your YouTube uploads.

  • Chat: WhatsApp launches a new feature, Bing is losing search market share, and more.

I'm embarking on a bold journey over the next 45 days – one I usually wouldn't chat about openly.

There's this notion that goals should be kept private, or else they might lose their magic once spoken out loud. Then there's the other camp that believes in sharing goals, kind of like a public nudge to keep oneself on track.

Well, I'm tipping my hat to the latter approach this time around.

With the holiday season here, it might not seem like the ideal moment to dive into a creator community. But I’ve got my sights set on a hefty goal: welcoming 50 new members to The Creator Club.

The point of this message is to share the behind-the-scenes of how I’m planning to make it happen.

First, why 50 new members?

If you caught my email a couple weeks ago about The 1% Rule, then you know not everybody who signs up participates. I want to create a thriving community. So I’m not looking for some random 50 sign-ups. I’m looking for genuine engagers. It’s somewhat a numbers game.

I believe wholeheartedly in the value we can create together, the rich discussions we can stir up.

As creators, we juggle a lot, and scaling our community feels like a step in the right direction (granted it’s with the right-fit peeps).

Now, for the 'how' part.

My 4-part strategy:

  1. Launching Free Tools: I've noticed that many potential creators don't quite see themselves as such, thanks to some confusing jargon. My plan? Offer free tools and resources to educate and welcome those who are creators at heart but haven't actualized it yet.

  2. Conducting Free Trainings: Think live webinars with a twist. Not only will these sessions be informative, but they'll also offer a pathway into our Creator Club.

  3. Running Facebook Ads: Whether it's promoting the club directly or using free tools as a lead magnet, I'm gearing up to make our presence felt on Facebook.

  4. Investing in the Club Itself: I've been in both free and paid communities and noticed that sometimes the sizzle is all in the marketing, not the steak (the program itself). I'm flipping the script here. By pouring my efforts into making The Creator Club the best it can be, I believe it will naturally draw in and retain members. (This is the most important step in my opinion)

Am I missing anything? 🤔

I feel confident this holiday season that if I show up with presence, then I can’t go wrong.

Lastly, a bit of a cheeky request. If you're feeling like giving me a hand (and maybe proving that my goal wasn't ambitious enough 😂), why not jump into The Creator Club? If you’re already in, don’t forget to reply to this weeks question! Together, we can make this happen.

Looking forward to an exciting 45 days ahead,

Dylan
