Here’s an Idea Behind Why Podcasting Is So Powerful
Astronomers have observed that time seems to have run more slowly in the early universe, with ancient astronomical objects appearing to evolve at just a fifth of the rate we observe today. Speaking of observing time moving slower…what’s it called when you’re trying to figure out the microphone/unmute settings on Zoom and it takes forever?
In today’s newsletter:
Freedom: The power of focus, connection, and bringing your ideas to life.
Tally: The simplest way to create forms.

Happy 4th of July to all in the USA
Just a short and sweet thought for you today….
Lately, I've been revisiting many books on podcasting for inspiration. One recurring thing I've noticed is this...
If you remember buying music or movies in a store, you might think like me.
The more people who would consume your media, meant more connections were being made.
Music and movie companies used to spend (and still do) lots of money to make things popular…thus trying to create these connections.
But with the growth of podcasting in the last 10 years, we’ve seen the power of focused communities springing up around 1 main idea.
Whether that is a crime show, a meditation podcast, or a news program…
Connections are being made in unique and powerful ways that can be inspiring to anyone.
There are no gatekeepers, no people telling you what to do or how to do it.
There are no reasons for massive budgets or huge teams of people.
Just the power of focused people who can to come together and create something that is bigger than themselves.
WHAT’S BUZZIN’
According to a study conducted by Evolve Business Intelligence, the podcasting market worldwide is far from hitting the pause button. Although we saw Spotify layoffs and Stitcher's shutdown, the industry is still showing growth. In 2022, the global podcasting market was valued at USD 18.5 Billion. The study predicts that the market will grow by almost 28% every year from 2023 to 2033. The future of podcasting is still looking bright.
