Do You Have a Folder of Love?

Did you know the safety pin was invented to pay off a $15 debt to a friend?

In today’s newsletter:

  • Cheers: My simple email folder where I save encouraging messages.

  • Resources: I’ve put together quite a few helpful templates, prompts and more.

  • Repair: California is putting new restrictions on repairs, Hackers claim it only took 10-minutes to shut down MGM, and more.

Making videos, writing posts, and sending emails is fun, but sometimes it can feel like a one-way street.

Not every post receives feedback, and that’s perfectly okay.

Over an extended period, it's easy to lose perspective on just how many people we’re reaching and impacting.

I've created a folder in my email inbox titled ‘Cheers’.

This is where I save all the email replies you send to me. The ones filled with encouragement and what resonated.

This is meant to be a private folder. It’s just a simple reminder.

On the flip side of me sharing this with you, if you ever reply to email with some cheer, you’ll be added to the folder!

If you’d like to make your ‘Cheers’ folder, and you’re using Gmail, it’s called ‘labels’ and here’s how to do it.
