I didn't see this on TMZ, but scientists have managed to capture the world's first X-ray of a single atom in its natural state. This groundbreaking feat, researchers suggest, paves the way for countless exciting areas of study. While the James Webb Space Telescope is capturing images of stars 20 million light-years away…I'm still at a loss for a new show to fill the void left by the end of Succession.

Right at the end of 2022, we saw the rise of AI.

Yesterday we got an announcement from Apple about Vision Pro.

There are a lot of blogs out there that could do a better job of talking about the technical details of this new device.

But there are some exciting possibilities ahead for podcasts that are worth mentioning...

Immersive Storytelling

Augmented reality will allow creators to expand the environments they create within their content.

The emphasis on storytelling and experiences will be bigger than ever. Instead of just describing a place, listeners could virtually visit the location.

Interactive Show Notes

Imagine being able to include supplemental material with your podcast that is more than just a blog post, or short description of the episode?

Not to mention time stamps that could pop up in real-time.

Enhanced Engagement

The possibilities are tremendous for making learning more engaging and immersive. Instead of talking about the solar system, your listeners could have planets orbiting around right in front of them.

Apple says Vision Pro will be available "early next year".

Besides announcing Vision Pro, Apple’s new mixed reality headset, they also had a few other announcements. Some standouts include computer upgrades, a mental-health focused journaling app, and FaceTime for Apple TV. While nothing specifically that you might be able to use for your content right away…it’s not out of reach for Apple to include one update that makes a tool like Zoom no longer needed.
