The 7 Deadly Sins of Podcasting: Are You Guilty? š²
In sales there's a term called "sales prevention".
Sales prevention is used to describe any action, behavior or situation that negatively impacts the potential customer from making a purchase.
In the context of podcasts, listener prevention can happen at various stages...
Whether it's through potential listeners discovering your podcast to the actual listening experience.
I've created a list of some of the most common examples of listener prevention in podcasts:
Poor audio quality
Complicated access
Ineffective marketing
Inconsistent release schedule
Unnecessarily long episodes
Unfocused content
Intrusive advertising
Most of the time, these things happen unknowingly.
Fixing them can be as simple as slight tweaks...and can change the trajectory of your podcasting journey.
Now that you are aware of them, it should be easier to find spots you can strengthen in your approach.
I got another brand deal that I just signed this week. It all started just from creating content.
This Week's Podcast: Building an Authentic Platform with Landon Poburan
Landon Poburan, a digital marketing expert with over a decade of experience, has successfully launched his personal brand.
In just 60 days, Landon achieved the following:

You're interested in building a platform
